They’re politely interrupted by the waiter bringing them their drinks. Aziraphale is startled, suddenly sitting very straight, his face hot. He does mumble some sort of very clumsy thanks to the young man, or what seems like it.]

Damn human!

[Crowley isn't one to really embarrasse easily so there isn't much movement on his part when the waiter arrives with their delicious looking dishes.

He nods his head as a thank you, body falling back against his chair. ]

Bon Appétit!

[ Aziraphale clears his throat, making a good effort of presenting himself as proper. ]

Cheers. [ He eyes in the general direction of the waiter until they go back inside. ]

[Crowley doesn't hesitate to toss back a glass of wine, savoring the fine taste followed by a soft "mmm". Well, the wine is indeed exquisite.]

[ Aziraphale suddenly remembers to actually reach for the wine, and get himself a sip. ]

Mmm. Yes. Quite good. Very...smooth.

There shall be other opportunities!!!!

[The demon agrees as he has himself another. Some countries just don't make wine as they used too and it's a pity.

Because this is delicious. ]

[ It's all quite alright. They'll enjoy this evening all the same.

Aziraphale inspects his dish with interest. Takes in the aroma and all. ]

Mmm. Divine.

[An evening to themselves sounds well deserved and greatly needed. That's if the angel is willing to have a night of fun.]

[ He may be. He may even be adventurous enough to see where the evening takes them.

Aziraphale eats, they drink, conversation falls back in line soon enough. As the sky grows darker, the warm lights of the restaurant come on, and the waiter comes back to check on them and light the small candle on the table. The evening is perfect. ]

[The setting is a rather romantic one. The city around them is lit up by a series of stunning lights, the breeze is warm and the night still young.

Why can't they do this all the time?

The demon shifts his position, eyes falling back along the content angel. ]

[ They could do this all the time. They’ve done it plenty of times before, but it feels different nowadays.

The angel dabs his lips with his napkin.]

Oh, immensely. [ And he says it with quite a lot of feeling.] It’s all so perfect.

[That was very much the goal. The demon wanted the angel to feel extraordinary. Soak up the beauty and wonders around them without a worry.

Without interruptions. ]

[ He reaches over to place his hand on Crowley’s again, for emphasis. ]

[Crowley gives a small nod of his head. He wouldn't identify himself as the romantic type and this wasn't-
