I'm surprised actually.

[Humans sure have a way with destroying beautiful things. Of course so does Heaven and Hell. Tragic really.

His eyes fall back along the angel, head tilting.]

[ The angel is taking a moment to appreciate the view. The sunset light makes his features almost glow.

He looks over at Crowley, and finally notices. ]

Yes it's-...good.

[The view is in a word stunning and Crowley can't help but wonder why the great all mighty would ever want to destroy such creations.

Thankfully he can at least admire the glow of the angel. With those bright eyes that have seen many wonderful things but his reactions never change.]

[ The angel's expression softens, his cheeks going slightly pink under Crowley's gaze.

He brushes a thumb across the demon's fingers. ]

[It should be a sin how just a simple touch can make the demon melt. Slightly of course!

He nods his head, fingers lightly brushing against the angel's own.]

[ Anyone could see how lovingly he's looking at the demon, the inside of his chest fluttering pleasantly.

Oh, would it be too much to just lean over closer...]

[It catches Crowley a bit off guard that the angel is so quick to agree. Aziraphale is very protective of his little bookshop and London seems to be his safe place.

He places his elbows along the table.]

[ The long, lingering gaze, and the fiery light of the setting sun might have something to do with the impulsive decision.]

[ He instinctively leans forward, just a smidge.]

[This damn demon is like a moth to a flame, leaning a bit forward himself.]

[ The angel quite clearly looks at the demons lips, close enough to smell his cologne.

[He's sure Aziraphale has to be pretty excited about the wine. Speaking of certain scents that pull the demon in, the angel's always has him locked in.

It should be a sin.

He hasn't noticed just how closely their faces have gotten and how easily it would be to just-]

[ Oh, Crowley has just been a darling all day. And this dinner…and the view…and oh he’s so close, so close, he could just-

They’re politely interrupted by the waiter bringing them their drinks. Aziraphale is startled, suddenly sitting very straight, his face hot. He does mumble some sort of very clumsy thanks to the young man, or what seems like it.]

Damn human!

[Crowley isn't one to really embarrasse easily so there isn't much movement on his part when the waiter arrives with their delicious looking dishes.

He nods his head as a thank you, body falling back against his chair. ]

Bon Appétit!

[ Aziraphale clears his throat, making a good effort of presenting himself as proper. ]

Cheers. [ He eyes in the general direction of the waiter until they go back inside. ]

[Crowley doesn't hesitate to toss back a glass of wine, savoring the fine taste followed by a soft "mmm". Well, the wine is indeed exquisite.]

That is fine wine!

[ Aziraphale suddenly remembers to actually reach for the wine, and get himself a sip. ]

Mmm. Yes. Quite good. Very...smooth.

There shall be other opportunities!!!!

[The demon agrees as he has himself another. Some countries just don't make wine as they used too and it's a pity.

Because this is delicious. ]

[ It's all quite alright. They'll enjoy this evening all the same.

Aziraphale inspects his dish with interest. Takes in the aroma and all. ]

[An evening to themselves sounds well deserved and greatly needed. That's if the angel is willing to have a night of fun.]

[ He may be. He may even be adventurous enough to see where the evening takes them.

Aziraphale eats, they drink, conversation falls back in line soon enough. As the sky grows darker, the warm lights of the restaurant come on, and the waiter comes back to check on them and light the small candle on the table. The evening is perfect. ]

[The setting is a rather romantic one. The city around them is lit up by a series of stunning lights, the breeze is warm and the night still young.

Why can't they do this all the time?

The demon shifts his position, eyes falling back along the content angel. ]

[ They could do this all the time. They’ve done it plenty of times before, but it feels different nowadays.

The angel dabs his lips with his napkin.]

Oh, immensely. [ And he says it with quite a lot of feeling.] It’s all so perfect.

[That was very much the goal. The demon wanted the angel to feel extraordinary. Soak up the beauty and wonders around them without a worry.

[ He reaches over to place his hand on Crowley’s again, for emphasis. ]

[Crowley gives a small nod of his head. He wouldn't identify himself as the romantic type and this wasn't-
